Description
The University of Texas School of Dentistry, a part of UT Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth), educates dentists, dental hygienists, and dental specialists, including oral and maxillofacial surgeons, orthodontists, endodontists, periodontists, prosthodontists and pediatric dentists. The school also offers a general practice residency and advanced education in general dentistry. In 2011, the school changed its name after 60 years as "The University of Texas Dental Branch."
