Headliners Club
The Headliners Club was conceived by Charles E. Green, the long-time Executive Editor of the Austin American-Statesman, as a comfortable environment for those who make the Headlines and those who write the Headlines. Before settling into its current 21st ?oor location above downtown Austin at Sixth and Lavaca, the Club operated from facilities in the historic Driskill Hotel and later, atop the Westgate Building, near the Texas Capitol. Today, The Headliners Club is widely known as Austin’s preeminent urban venue for social events and professional meetings, as well as for entertaining and ?ne dining in a graceful and convivial setting. The Club also regularly presents a variety of special events that re?ect the tastes and interests of its members and their guests. The membership of the Club has continued to grow and change just like our city. The Club has evolved and adapted with the interests of our members, providing new services and opportunities. What hasn’t changed since the beginning is the excellent food, service and hospitality at the Headliners Club. Since it’s inception, Headliners has been a place to make memories, celebrate special occasions, and to be part of a community.
