We are a community of students and scholars who are engaged in critical scholarship, practice, and praxis, and who address the most pressing issues in education, both locally and globally. The Department of Curriculum and Instruction (C&I) develops scholars, researchers and leaders in the areas of curriculum and instruction; literacy (language and culture); math and science education; bilingual/ESL education; and teacher education.
